About us

Hi! We are three students from the UPV/EHU in Leioa and our multimedia story will be about the three pastries. A short introduction of the faces behind this project:

¡Hola! My name is Lotte Broers, I am 21 years old and I am from the Netherlands. I live in a small village, named Empel, what is near by ‘s-Hertogenbosch. In the Netherlands I study Communication and I am an Erasmus student in Bilbao! The fact that we are going to talk about the three traditional pastries, makes me very happy, because I really love food! My hobbies are, next to eating, singing, travelling and drawing in my bullet journal. I also like to go out with friends, like dancing or just chilling!

Hello, my name is Roselie Goedegebuure, I am 23 years old and I am from Sint-annaland. This is a village with 4000 people in Zeeland, the Netherlands. I study Communication – International Events Music and Entertainment studies in Tilburg, but now I study Social Studies on UPV/EHU Leioa in Bilbao, as an Erasmus student! What I like to do in my spare time is hanging out with my friends, playing music and that’s my life. Oh, I also like to go on trips and my biggest hobby is eating! That’s why I like this subject, just like Lotte. Together, we eat a lot 🙂

Hi, my name is Asier Navío, I was born in Portugalete, a beautiful village in Biscay, in 1997. At the moment, I am studying the last year of the journalism degree, I hope. I love writing, that is why I study this career and I love reading as well. Moreover, I am writing a novel since 2017. I like the pastries of Bilbao a lot, they are the best of the world. The Carolina, the buttercream bun and the rice cake make me crazy and I am excited to get to know everything about them.
